We are looking for folks interested in jumping in on the founding team of Persona AI, a (very) new humanoid robot company!

There has been a recent flurry of activity in commercialization of humanoid robots, with impressive demos and exciting news coming out from around the industry. The market appears to be ready.

Therefore, we have decided to found Persona AI, a startup joining the race to commercialize humanoids. We are in the process of assembling a 10-20 member world class founding team and we are looking for top talent in the numerous disciplines required: mechanical and electrical design, controls, system integration, testing, power and motion control, business development, applications, robot perception, localization and mapping, motion planning, manipulation, behavior coordination, etc. 

Now is a good time for the commercialization of humanoids. Computer vision and perception algorithms can now detect motion, identify and segment objects, and estimate poses at frame rate; electronics and computation have shrunk in size and increased in performance, such that they can be fully onboard a robot and not hog the energy budget; mobility and manipulation algorithms are now competent enough to maneuver around rooms and do commercially useful work; machine learning is increasing robot capabilities while reducing programming burden; investors are starting to believe in the potential of humanoids; and commercial entities are requesting humanoid robots in various applications where they can add real value.

We are hoping to build a founding team of 10-20 people that are willing to take a risk, are best in the world at their tradecraft, have leadership experience or potential, are passionate, yet cautiously optimistic about the potential of humanoid robots, and thrive in the uncertain environment of a startup.
